Report a page hosted on AppFoyer
We host compliance pages for app developers on their own subdomains. If one of those pages is impersonating a company, phishing, or otherwise breaking the rules, tell us — the report reaches us, not the developer.
How to report
Email abuse@appfoyer.com. Please include:
- The full address of the page — for example
https://app-8f3k2m.appfoyer.page/support. This is the one thing we cannot work without. - What is wrong with it: who it appears to impersonate, what it asks visitors to do, where you found the link.
- A screenshot, if the page might be changed before we look.
Every page we host also carries a Report abuse link in its own footer, which opens the same address with the page already identified.
What happens next
A person reads the report and opens the page. If it breaks the rules, the site is taken offline — the pages stop being served, and the developer is told why. We record what was decided and on what grounds.
We cannot promise a response time, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can say is that reports are not filtered by a bot and not forwarded to the person you are reporting.
What we can and cannot act on
| We can act | We cannot |
|---|---|
A page hosted on appfoyer.page impersonating a company, a bank, an app store or a person. | A website we do not host. Check the address — if it is not on appfoyer.page, it is not ours. |
| Phishing, malware links, fake giveaways, credential or payment-detail collection. | A dispute with an app's developer about their product, a refund, or their support. |
| A page whose content clearly is not what a store-compliance page is for. | Deleting an account inside a developer's own app — we have no access to it (see below). |
If you asked a developer to delete your account
The account-deletion pages we host forward your request to the developer and nothing more.
We do not run their app, we hold no account of yours, and we cannot delete anything on their side.
If they have not acted, contact them directly, or the store you installed the app from. Reporting
it here will not speed it up — we would only be able to pass on what you already sent.
If your own page was removed
This page is for reporting someone else's site. If we held or removed your page and you
think we got it wrong, write to support@appfoyer.com
instead — a page held by mistake is restored when you tell us, and a held page never deleted
anything: your live page stayed exactly as it was.
Security issues
Found a vulnerability in AppFoyer itself rather than in a hosted page? Send it to
abuse@appfoyer.com with “security” in the subject and
please give us a chance to fix it before publishing.
